Craft Retreat - typical timetable
| Sunday afternoon/evening |
Arrive at Rosebank, settle in, meet your fellow crafters, relax and have dinner, followed by a group discussion on what you each want to achieve from the retreat. |
| Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday |
Breakfast, followed by a warm-up card-making exercise on the first morning, then let the crafting begin! This can take the form of whatever you or the group want to do...... cardmaking, stitching, stamping, painting, iris folding, paper-shaping, you could learn a new technique, work on a project you've brought with you, share ideas, have a rummage through my crafting stash......... my studio is your play area! If you are stuck for ideas I have literally hundreds of projects, templates, ideas and materials for you to choose from, to inspire you, or work on step-by-step with my help and guidance - if you want it of course! Buffet lunches will be provided, and as much tea, coffee, juice and biscuits as you can manage. You can craft all day if you want to, or you can have a drive out sometime during the day, maybe to take photos for that mini-scrapbook you're making as a memento of your visit to Skye. The timetable can be as free or structured as the group wants it to be. Dinner will be served around 7pm, and the evenings can be spent chatting, just relaxing, or maybe going out for a sociable drink to get to know each other better. Or you may choose to stay in and watch a crafting DVD, listen to some music, or watch one of the many films in our collection. |
| Thursday | A leisurely breakfast before you set off on your journey home, hopefully relaxed, full of ideas and raring to return next year! |
N.B. This timetable is just a suggestion - your actual activities will be dictated by group or individual needs and decisions.
