Craft Retreats information

 
Rosebank provides the perfect setting for like-minded people to indulge in their favourite past-time for a few days, where you can chat, make new friends and enjoy some well-deserved 'me' time, in a spacious and comfortable house with peaceful, beautiful scenery on the doorstep to inspire and explore at your leisure.
Our retreats can be tailored for beginners or experienced crafters. My particular area of expertise is paper-crafting in most of its forms - cardmaking, scrapbooking, hand-made stationery, canvas-work, mini-book making, and various other crafts such as cross-stitch, watercolour painting, home-crafts and rag doll making to name a few.
Any of the above activities can be organised or sampled as you wish during your stay, and included in the price is reasonable access to my extensive collection of materials, tools, ideas, books, and ready-to-make projects, although it may be necessary for an extra charge to be made for more expensive items if you wish to make use of them. Alternatively you are welcome to bring your own project and materials with you, to start or complete during your stay. I will be on hand for tuition and guidance where required, and I have many samples of my own available to inspire you. There will be ample time for exploring the island, perhaps taking photos and collecting ephemera to include in that memento of your visit you're making to take home with you!   A typical stay could look like  this...

Accommodation is based on 2 sharing a twin room, with en-suite or private bathroom. All meals are included in the price, i.e. breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner, and endless tea and coffee through the day.   You are welcome to come on your own, or why not organise a group visit and bring your friends with you?  Basic prices are indicated here but specially tailored breaks can be organised on request.
